This weekend is all about thick bodies, summer skin, chosen family, and that relaxed campground energy that only happens when the bears take over camp. Whether you’re coming to float in the pool, meet new friends, dance late into the night, or just enjoy a long weekend outdoors, this is your invitation to show up, unwind, and let the summer growl. Weekend Highlights Wednesday Ease into the weekend with Thick Thighs & Poolside Vibes, a hot tub hang at Soak the Bears, and the Bear Warmup at Shady Pines hosted by David Lee. Thursday Start the day with an OUT’ing Local Hike, then spend the afternoon at Fur in the Sun Pool Day and Bear Stew Hot Tub Hang. Later, join the Feed the Bears Meat & Greet hosted by Chuck Corsi, followed by a Campfire Social at The Ted Shed hosted by Ted Goodman. Friday Kick off the morning with the Outta Hibernation Social featuring coffee, bagels, donuts, and mimosas, hosted by Ed Scarborough. Then enjoy Poolside Growls, The Cub Tub Hot Tub Social, Strip Billiards, and VIBE CHECK with DJ Andrew Heavener. Saturday The big day brings the Monroe Farmers Market, All-Level Yoga with Erik Rogers, Friends of Bill W., volleyball with Fernando, the Poolside Bear Market, and the Bears of Summer Pool Party with DJ Brad Scott. Later, get ready for the Lazy Bear Shot Crawl, FERAL INSTINCT with DJ Gavin, and Naked & Unafraid at the FOXHOLE. Sunday Slow it down with The Bear Reset, Heavy Float Day, Hot & Hairy Hot Tub Hang OUT, and a relaxing Sunday Night Movie at Camp. What to Pack For VIBE CHECK, bring easy, confident, dance-ready looks — tanks, shorts, jocks, and sweat-friendly fits. For FERAL INSTINCT, let it get wild with dark tones, leather, harnesses, and skin-forward looks. Also pack swimwear, or go bare where permitted, a camp chair for fireside hangs, yoga-friendly clothes, and your usual camp essentials. Vendors Check out weekend vendors including Triton Soaps and Knucks. Vendor sign-up is available. Around Camp Make a full trip out of it with nearby community events, theater, music, and local attractions, including the Juneteenth Freedom Festival at Sherman Theater, Annie Get Your Gun at The Shawnee Playhouse, and live jazz at Deer Head Inn, the oldest continuously running jazz club in the country.
