Get ready for a weekend bursting with heat, color, rhythm, and queer joy. Carnaval – Latine & Caribbean Weekend brings bold music, vibrant culture, poolside energy, campfire connection, dancing, and celebration to Camp OUT Poconos. This is a weekend for showing OUT exactly as you are — bright, loud, proud, and fully in the moment. From tropical pool parties and hot tub hangs to fireside socials, a camp-wide Carnaval Parade, DJs, dancing, and late-night energy, this weekend turns camp into a colorful outdoor celebration of LGBTQ+ community, Latine culture, Caribbean rhythm, and summer freedom. Whether you’re coming to dance, relax by the pool, meet new friends, or experience one of the most vibrant gay camping weekends of the season, Carnaval is your invitation to bring the color, bring the heat, and bring the joy. Weekend Highlights Thursday Ease into the weekend with a sun-soaked pool day warm-up, then gather around the fire for the Campfire Social at The Ted Shed, hosted by Ted Goodman. Friday Friday turns tropical with Calor Tropical Pool Day, followed by Caliente y Lento Hot Tub Hang, Entre Amigos Fireside Social, and FUEGO After Dark with DJ. Saturday Start the day with a trip to the Monroe Farmers Market in Downtown Stroudsburg, then enjoy All-Level Yoga with Erik, Friends of Bill W., and Volleyball with Fernando & Amigos. The afternoon heats up with Bajo el Sol Pool Party, followed by the Carnaval Parade through camp. Then dance into the night with CALIENTE HASTA ABAJO with DJ E.V.E. and STRINGS & STRAPS at The FOXHOLE. Sunday Close out the weekend with Ritmo Mojado Pool Day and a relaxing Sunday Night Movie at Camp. What to Pack Bring bright, bold, cultural celebratory looks — think color, skin, movement, and joy. Pack something festive for the Carnaval Parade, swimwear or go bare where permitted, a camp chair for fireside hangs, yoga-friendly clothes, and your usual camp essentials. Events are subject to change or cancellation. Camp OUT is a 21+ membership-required LGBTQ+ camping resort. BYOB. Come for the rhythm. Stay for the community.
